Our client, a leading Insurance business, is seeking an Assistant Financial Accounts Manager to join its busy Guernsey team.
Being the first point of contact between clients within the cash, treasury and investment management department, the key duties will include the supporting and training of junior administrators, overseeing the monitoring of daily cash balances, cash sweeping processes and reviewing all bank reconciliations. Creating payments, updating cashbooks, drafting calculations, memos and documents and assisting team managers with any tasks that require assistance.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of three years experience working in an accounting or financial environment, and have knowledge of accounting software. Those holding a relevant qualification such as CAT or AAT will be looked upon favourably. Familiarisation with Guernsey regulations would be advantageous.
