Job Description

This role involves reviewing, replicating and detailed troubleshooting application issues, as well as full range of project duties such as upgrades, new features and new implementations, system and database administration and all areas of project lifecycle such as requirements gathering, solution selection, working with suppliers, testing, final delivery and ongoing support.  Duties involve being pro-active in identifying opportunities and delivering enhancements and integrations using current technologies; liaising with supplier support desks; deploying fixes to the LAB environment; performing and managing testing of fixes; managing release of fixes into  Production; documenting and recording all action; active engagement with business users; managing externally provided solutions; leading IT work-streams; assisting in conversion, implementation and maintenance of new & existing applications; contributing to management, co-ordination and validity of data; attend client meetings
Candidate must have successful history of comprehensive Application Software support and leading delivery on IT Projects/work streams; good team player; continual development as IT Professional; strong relationship building, organisational, numerical, communication and analytical skills; self-motivated and willing to take on responsibility; ability to prioritise tasks and work across competing priorities; attention to detail; experience with applications from Legal & Company Admin such as ViewPoint, iManage, Interaction, Elite, Aderant Expert, Metastorm; solid experience with SQL; experience with MS and open technologies - IIS, Sharepoint, .NET, XML, JSON, HTML, SSIS, SSRS; relevant IT qualifications are an advantage.
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
