AML Compliance Officer

Exciting role keeping abreast of AML requirements and assisting with the internal implementation and action plans; assisting Group MLRO; management of internal Suspicious activity Reporting for Jersey; management of regulatory administration; drafting of policies and procedures; regular review of policies and procedures to ensure they remain up to date; propose and drive policy changes; management of internal outreach of reportable events; assist with external and internal audits; compiling data, preparation and submission to regulatory reporting; collect data for internal reports; reviewing and updating procedures documents; ad hoc Compliance duties.
Minimum 5 GCSEs to include Maths and English at grade C or above required; AML/compliance qualification/willing to work towards a plus; strong analytical, organisational, presentation, influencing, negotiation and interpersonal skills; able to work to deadlines; at least 3 years experience in regulatory compliance role; knowledge of governance, AML and CFT legislation; ideally working knowledge of Jersey Gambling Commission; innovative and strategic thinking; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient; project management ability; able to interpret legislation; proactive; ability to work independently and on own initiative; team player; ability to prioritise and multi-task; eye for detail; 'can-do' attitude. 
Five years continuous residence in Jersey required.
