As an Assistant Manager of Client Accounting, you will join our client's accounting team in the Jersey office. You will work closely with the team on the provision of accounting services to client entities of the department.
You will look after an agreed portfolio of complex entities to prepare & review accurate financial statements, management accounts & other financial reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS & US GAAP as required & in accordance with agreed deadlines. Review financial statements prepared by team members. Assist with the preparation of monthly & quarterly Management Information & present findings as appropriate. Undertake complex accounting work with minimal supervision. Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, clients & auditors. Act as a role model to junior colleagues.
You will hold a professional qualification such as ACCA or similar & have five or more years' experience at a high level in a related role. Comprehensive understanding & knowledge of accounting standards, trust administration & Jersey company law. You should have intermediate MS Office skills. Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision throughout the day. You should have the ability to organise & prioritise tasks, time & people to meet deadlines as required. Provide a proactive approach to your work & take initiative.
