Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Administration Manager for their Fund Services team to take responsibility for the administration of a limited portfolio of complex and high-risk cases. This role involves managing client relationships, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company policies, and providing technical and management support to a team of fund administrators. The successful candidate will collaborate with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the department and deliver high-quality client services.

 

Job Duties:

  • Administer and account for a portfolio of complex and high-risk funds or entities.
  • Monitor risk exposure and ensure adherence to risk management procedures, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Provide professional advice and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Manage client relationships, attend meetings with clients and professional advisers, and handle complex queries.
  • Oversee billing and aged debt for personal and team matters.
  • Ensure continuity of service during periods of absence by preparing adequate handovers and resource plans.
  • Act as an authorised signatory in line with company policy.
  • Participate in management meetings and implement decisions to enhance client delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Allocate new business tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
  • Lead departmental projects aimed at improving client service and business operations.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience in fund and company administration.
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of fund administration, regulatory requirements, and Jersey company law.
  • Proven supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong IT skills and a solutions-driven attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to make decisions within corporate policies.
