A well-known global asset management company is seeking an accounts payable leader for its office in Jersey. The successful candidate will lead, motivate and develop the AP team while maintaining focus on continuous improvement of business processes. Candidates are expected to understand key financial roles including AP, financial controllers and procurement; have experience of control-focused monitoring and reporting including KPIs and proactive exceptions management; as well as extensive experience, including team management, within the financial services sector. Ideally (but not necessarily) they will have experience working in alternative asset management, understanding of hedge fund business model; bookkeeping or accounting qualification and involvement in transformation and change initiatives.
